Arri and Isco optics collaborated to build these lenses in the 80's. Optically and mechanically they are very good for anamorphic lenses of that era. Lines remain straight which is rare even in todays Anamorphics. If you want to shoot anamorphic but have a lot of straight lines in your pictures these lenses are a very good choice.
Master Anamorphic lenses represent a significant step forward in the technology and pract cality of anamorphic cinematography for 35 format digital and film cameras.
The Master Anamorphic series comprises nine high-performance prime lenses ranging from 28 mm to 180 mm, accompanied by lAx and 2.0x ARRI ALLJRA LDS Extenders that lengthen the telephoto reach to 360 mm.
